Registration is at 9:00 a.m., and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m. It's easy to join the team online by linking to webchicago.alsa.org/goto/mmm2014 where you can enter your name and how much you plan on raising, or to pick a team member who's goal you'd like to contribute to.

2014 Walk to Defeat ALS

Thank you to all who joined “Marianne's Merry Marchers”† on Saturday, September 20th in the 2014 Walk to Defeat ALS either as walkers and/or as donors. As of this writing nearly $5,000.00 was raised, and the donations are still coming in. However it's not too late to join. Go to the team page(webchicago.alsa.org/goto/mmm2014), pick a team member who's goal you'd like to contribute to, and follow the instructions.

† Marianne was an Emmanuel member who suffered from ALS. She said of the walk that it may be too late to help her, but if we can raise money for research perhaps others won't have to endure this devastating illness. We are sorry to say the she passed away on November 27, 2014.
